I’m really super plumped to invite you to hear this Expert Series because he focuses on video email (one of my FAVORITE topics).
Let me give you a little background because we’re going to focus on email marketing and video emails, because Big Jason is the EXPERT when it comes to doing email marketing. Working online in 1996, he is a certified email marketing optimization specialist, and landing page optimization professional by Marketing Experiments. He is one of the largest marketing research firms in the world. He has attended all of the marketing Sherpa email summit events.
And I got to say that right now, he’s probably one of the most well-known email marketers around. He has also spoken at many conferences. He’s endorsed by some of the top marketers in the world, including John Carlton, Frank Clements, million dollar Mike Morgan, many others.
We’ve got a lot to go over to you in a very short amount of time. We’re going to talk about how video is changing the game when it comes to email. And you know email better than probably any other dude out there that I’ve met. And I’ve met a ton of people out there.
Jason worked for a huge IM company. And their list total was about 112,000. But their average opt in rate was only 6%. Jason noted that the reach was anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 out of 115,000. So, it was pretty bad. And the first thing the company wanted him to do is do an affiliate promotion for them. And it was for Mike Koenigs’ Mainstream Marketing Machines. And it was a $3,000 product.
They’d already missed the pre-launch. So, Jason was just building rapport of the last, setting up a customer webinar with Mike Koenigs, and follow-up.
He generated 121 sales, which is like over $300,000 in sales.

Jason knows it’s all the way he writes his emails.
He’s been doing it since 1996, when he worked for about.com as the exercise guide. He picked up some really good tips here and there from Dan Kennedy; John Carlton, of course, his simple writing system; and David Carlton and others.
And he’s hardly ever used swipe-copy from other people. He always writes it custom, laser target for the list.
So basically, with that company, Jason just basically researched who the people were on the list; learned what they’re most passionate about; what they’re most interested in; what they need help with. And he just custom laser target this copy for the Main Street Marketing Machines.
And, he turned that into a Boatload of Affiliate Commissions.
