Our webinar series has touched on all aspects of video marketing, but today we are talking about one of the most important features that can make or break your videos – Audio.  Ken is the co-founder of Home Brew Audio and an absolute expert on how to create studio quality sound at home with basic PC equipment.

Ken Theriot on Audio Production

Ken Theriot is a musician, recording engineer, and voice-over actor.  He runs a music label he started 15 years ago called Raven Boy Music.  The produce “folk music for the current middle ages,” which is a fancy way of saying “modern sounding pop-folk music for the renaissance faire crowd and other medieval re-enactor groups, like the SCA.  He has engineered and produced 15 CDs for 5 different artists with RBM.  Ken’s latest CD is called Human History and has made quite a splash both in and out of the re-enactor world.  The songs “Agincourt” and “Band of Brothers were both certifed top 10 internet radio charters.  As a voice-over actor he has done a wide variety of work, including both voicing and producing all of the 3rd-party GPS replacement voices for PIGTones.com.  He provided the voices of Stewie Griffin, Peter Griffin, Yoda, the Devil, and a few others for PIGTones.  For all the other voices, he sources, produces and packages them for PIGTones.  Ken’s voice can also be heard on any number of e-learning and corporate training programs around the world.  Most recently Ken and Dale Hensel (co-owner of PIGTones) launched an internet business called Home Brew Audio, designed to teach and foster home audio recording through video tutorials, articles, posts, podcasts, and access to royalty-free music, audio loops, and other audio-related resources.  The site can be found at www.homebrewaudio.com.
